Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat

This beautiful product was given to me as a gift at Christmas time andI do not remember a time that I have fallen more in love with a product's packaging. It's amazing simple gold packaging just sells the whole thing, you don't even need to LOOK inside! This one is definitely on the higher end of the price scale coming in at $46 at Mecca for 4.2g of product.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Who loves to know that they've cleaned every last bit of makeup off their face? I know I do! I picked up the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water a few months ago and have found myself using it religiously ever since. It's known to be a drugstore dupe of the Bioderma Cleansing Water and with it being so much cheaper, how could I go past it?

I'll admit, I do use makeup wipes to get rid of the bulk of my makeup at the end of each day but ever since introducing this cleansing water into my nightly routine, I no longer feel guilty about what I'm leaving on my face. You'd think after giving your face a good cleanse with a makeup wipe, you'd be good to go, right? Absolutely not. The first time I used the cleansing water, I did my usual routine with a makeup wipe and then grabbed a few cotton pads to wipe down my face after. I put a generous amount of the cleansing water onto the pad and even after a few wipes, I got such a massive shock as to what was still on my face! From that day on, I HAD to include the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water into my routine.

It doesn't leave your face feeling sticky or like it's covered in residue and it seems to remove every last bit of makeup left on my face. It's gentle enough to remove eye makeup but unfortunately doesn't get ALL waterproof makeup off. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting an easy way to remove their makeup. And for only $11.99 from Priceline, you really can't go wrong.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Before Christmas, I had never owned a box powder from Benefit and obviously didn't understand the hype yet. For Christmas I received the Hoola Bronzer and now I get it! I finally see what everyone is going on about.

To start with, the packaging is really cute. It's just a little purple-ish coloured box with some bamboo and a lily orchid on the front. The box holds 8g of product as well. It comes with a mini contouring brush which I actually think is quite decent and use it on the regular with this particular product.

This bronzer is the perfect shade for contouring and from what I've seen it's quite universal as well. It's a matte bronzer with quite a cool undertone so it doesn't look orange on the skin at all.

The amazing thing about this product is how versatile it is. You can use it just to warm up your face, to contour or even as an eyeshadow! This is why it's so worth the expensive price tag.

Have you given this bronzer a go? What did you think about it?

Top 5 Lipsticks

Today I thought I would share my current top 5 lipsticks with you. Lipstick is my thing and I'm constantly wanting more even though I always seem to gravitate towards the same shade of pink!

#1 Face of Australia Lip Quench Lipstick in Peaches and Cream
I picked this up about a month ago and I have been absolutely loving it. It's the perfect shade for those days when I don't want to deal with the upkeep of a bright lipstick. It's beautifully moisturising and creamy on the lips.

#2 MAC lipstick in Creme Cup
This is one of their Cremesheen formula lipsticks and it's a perfect everyday colour. It's just a lovely pink shade and the formula is super creamy and smooth on the lips. This was my first MAC lipstick and I've loved it since day one. I think this will be one of the first lipsticks I use up completely!

#3 Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Vivid Rose
This is one of those shades that I unintentionally gravitate towards. I have so many lipsticks in this shade but I can't get enough! Maybelline do really well with their lipsticks. The formulas are great, lasting power is great and colour selection is great as well. One of the best lipstick collections in the drugstore and this colour is just one of my collection.

#4 MAC lipstick in Show Orchid
This one I got for Christmas from my Mum and I've been reaching for it quite often since. It's a gorgeous pink with a blue undertone. It's one of their Amplified formulas and I am absolutely in love. It gives off such a nice sheen when first applied and the lasting power is amazing as well. You just can't go past MAC lipsticks.

#5 Lime Crime Velvetine in Red Velvet
This is my go to red lipstick. Lime Crime has done an incredible job with the Velvetines. They are a liquid lipstick that dries to a complete matte finish and does not budge. I wore this on the day of my dance concerts and it lasted the whole time up until I ate a mango (it lasted through all other food though!).

What's In My Bag | 2015

I thought I would mix it up a little today and talk about what's in my bag at the moment. It was time for a new bag since I'd had my last one for about six months. That probably doesn't sound like a long time for some but I work in a bag shop and am surrounded by them all the time so I'm always seeing new ones I want!

This is one of the new releases Colette by Colette Hayman and it's priced at $54.95. It's called the Plate Double Zip Tote. They've never done this style before and they've done so well with it. It's got one main pocket in the middle and then two zip pockets on either side as well as the standard little zip compartment and phone compartments on the inside.

Firstly, I have my wallet. It is also from Colette by Colette Hayman and was part of their leather collection they did late last year.

Secondly, I've got a little makeup bag from Colette that contains bobby pins, hair ties, Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder, Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia, Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya, Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub and the Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop in Pink Shock. Just a few everyday necessities.

Lastly, I've just got a handy packet of Nurofen, some chewing gum and a Rexona deodorant. The great thing about buying a new handbag is clearing out all the junk you had in your last one!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

The all hyped up Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay came into my possession at Christmas. I actually had no idea that I was going to get this but I was so ridiculously stoked about it.

The palette is a beautiful rose gold tin with Naked 3 Urban Decay imprinted on the front in gold. Inside are 12 lovely shadows and a double ended eyeshadow brush. I have actually been quite impressed with the quality of the brush and use it quite frequently.

There shadows range from lighter pinks to darker browns with pink undertones. I would say all but one are super pigmented and easy to wear and blend. The colour Dust is the biggest let down as it is very glittery and prone to a lot of fallout because of it's consistency. The matte shades in the palette are Strange, Limit and Nooner and all three are beautiful to help blend out everything. My favourite colour would have to be Buzz which is a metallic pink shade with a hint of copper.

(L to R: Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart)

All up, I would highly recommend this palette. I have had so much fun playing with this and creating heaps of different eye looks. I can already tell this will be some of my most used eyeshadows for the year!

Have you got this palette? What do you think of it?

Kit Plump Pucker Pout set

For Christmas, my girlfriends and I continued our little Kris Kringle tradition. My best friend got me in the pick and as she knew about my love for makeup, she went to Mecca Cosmetica and picked up the Kit Plump Pucker Pout set. (She also really wanted me to blog about these!)

The set contains four limited edition lip glasses, each a different colour/finish. The names of them are Clear Glass, Tint Glass, Shimmer Glass and Bold Glass.

Clear Glass is just a plain clear gloss, Tint Glass has a slight peachy colour to it, Shimmer Glass has a very sheer hint of pink with shimmer through it and Bold Glass is a beautiful watermelon shade. All except Bold Glass have a minty scent to them and seem to plump up your lips a little when applied. Bold Glass seems to have a peach smell (I think). They all seem to be slightly sticky but that's what I've come to expect with any gloss.

This set has all the gloss colours you would need to complete any look and are all the perfect size to pop straight into your handbag or clutch for any occasion. I would definitely recommend these to all lipgloss lovers!
