Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Creams

This is one range of products that I was so unsure about when I first purchased it. I tried it a few times and then left for them for quite a while, not really bothering with giving them more of a go. It wasn't until a couple of months ago when I was going through my collection that I came across them again and figured I may as well experiment a little more to figure out how to make them work for me!

One of the first things you notice with this product is the scent. I absolutely love it. It's so deliciously sweet. The three colours I've purchased are Rio-D, Lun-Dun and Mi-A-Mee. The latter would definitely have to be my favourite. I just think it's a more wearable colour than the other two which are a little out there.

So, after doing a bit of trial and error I have figured out how to make these work for myself. Firstly, I had to apply a thin layer on my lips, let that dry for a little and then apply another coat on top. Then I just have to wait for the product to completely dry before licking my lips or rubbing them together otherwise it starts peeling off and becoming very patchy. 

I'm so glad I realised how to make these products work but they're definitely not something I reach for regularly. They're not as comfortable on the lips as some other lipsticks I own, but I really like them for their colours as I don't have any others like them.
