About a month ago, I made the decision to do a favourites post once every two months so here I am today with my favourites for the month of June. I figure having a favourites posts up every month is some serious overkill especially when I tend to stick to the same products a lot of the time. So without further ado, let's get straight into it!
#1 Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
This is the mini size that I got for my birthday back in April and I've been really getting into it lately. I feel like it actually makes a difference in the longevity of my makeup throughout the day. During the week, I have some long days to look forward to with work and dancing and this really helps everything stay in place on my face. I'd definitely be interested in trying the other ones in this range. You can pick this up from Mecca for $22 or the full size for $44.
#2 Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia
Winter gives my lips hell every single year. I tend to get dry lips on a normal day so add the chill of Melbourne winter and you've got a catastrophy. The Nivea Lip Butter is my savior. Not only does it smell good but it works a treat. This one sits with my makeup and skincare so that I am in the habit of applying it every night before bed and every morning while doing my makeup. You can find this one at your local supermarket or Priceline.
#3 Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in Nude Perfection
I haven't been able to justify Mac's Velvet Teddy yet so when I saw this, I had to grab it. They're quite close in colour so this was the perfect product to make sure it would suit my skin tone. It's a beautiful brown nude with a satin finish, perfect for everyday wear. You can grab these from Priceline for around $10 but there's always sales on Maybelline.
#4 Maybelline Brow Precise Brow Pencil in Soft Brown
I've been getting quite a few compliments lately on my brows and really this is the product I have to thank for making them look good. It's a waxy pencil with just the right amount of wax to set them in place but still let them look quite natural. I just use it to shape and fill in any sparse areas and then brush it all through with the spooly on the end. You can grab these from Priceline as well!
