Lipsticks for Spring

Spring is in the air! Finally! As I'm writing this post, Melbourne is having one of their first perfect Spring days of the year. It's so beautiful outside so I thought I would whip out my current favourite lipsticks for Spring. Knowing me, I'll be buying a few more lipsticks that sit with the Spring theme in the next coming months but here are some picks I thought I would share with you.

#1 MAC Creme Cup
This is one of my all time favourite lipsticks and I think it's perfect for spring! It works well with lots of different eye looks but is also perfectly paired with simple, dewy, spring makeup look. It's a sheer light pink in the cremesheen finish so it's not highly pigmented but you can build it up. If you're looking to splurge on a lipstick that you'll be able to wear all the time, I'd highly recommend this one.

#2 Maybelline Color Sensational in Vibrant Mandarin
Maybelline is my go to for drugstore lipsticks. They all have such a nice, wearable formula. This particular one is a beautiful orange shade but it's not too bright to scare people off. It's really comfortable on the lips and I love to whip this one out when I'm wanting a bright lip but don't feel like the usual pink or red. They're super affordable so go check them out.

#3 Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake
Again, this is not a super pigmented lip colour but something I'd wear with a no makeup makeup look. It's a pretty sheer pink that gives just the right amount of colour to the lips. I've had a few from this range and I can't recommend them enough. 

#4 Maybelline Rebel Bloom Lipstick in Coral Burst
Yet another Maybelline lipstick. This one came in their latest Rebel Bloom collection. As the name states, it's a coral shade. It's just a little bit lighter and more pink than Vibrant Mandarin. Again, the formula is unbeatable for the price and it's perfect for that pop of colour you're looking for.

#5 Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Jelly Donut
This is my second shade I've purchased from this range and I want more! This particular colour is a bright, rich pink (which I seem to gravitate towards!). It screams Spring to me. These go on glossy and then dry semi-matte. They have amazing staying power and a great range of shades. Definitely jump into Mecca if these are up your alley!
