Monthly Favourites | August 2015

The end of August already? You know what that means, right? SPRING! Finally! Here's to pretty spring scenery and warmer weather. I am so excited. 
So as it's the end of another month, I'm here to talk about my favourites for the last couple of months. 

#1 Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush in Coral
I picked this one up in the Maybelline sale at priceline not long ago and I haven't been able to get enough of it. It's a beautiful shimmery coral shade that I chose because most of my blushes are more pink than coral. It's been a great addition to my collection and I highly recommend picking one of these up.

#2 Nars Highlighter in Albatross
When a shimmery blush just isn't enough of a glow for me, I've been reaching for this product. It's quite a light shade with a golden shimmer through it. It has just the right amount of sheen when applied to the tops of your cheek bones and with such a decent amount of product, it's going to last me such a long time. It's definitely a great investment if you're looking to purchase a high end highlighter.

#3 By Terry Mascara Terrybly Growth Booster
I received this little sample mascara in the latest Beauty Loop Box from Mecca. I'd never really heard much about this one but I was keen to give it a go. I've been loving the formula so far. It gives just the right amount of length and volume for everyday wear but it can be built up without getting too clumpy. I'm thinking of starting to use it every single day to see if the 'growth booster' claim is legitimate as right now I'm alternating between this and another mascara.

#4 Orphan Black
This show has got me hooked. It sucked me in from the first episode and I can't get enough. It's basically about a bunch of clones and them figuring out everything to do with them. I'm currently on the second season and it's just getting super intense. It's one of the series that you really have to be in the mood to watch as you can't miss a beat so if that's what you're after, I highly recommend it.

#5 My Cats
I know this sounds lame but honestly, I have the funniest cats. They're just so random and they just make being home alone at times so much more entertaining. They're also great snuggle buddies, especially right now as it's super cold.
