Current Favourite Makeup Brushes

The trick to ensure your makeup is applied flawlessly is to have the right tools. Good quality makeup can only do so much so having some great brushes can really help the finished look. So today I'm going to show you five of my favourite brushes that I like to use when applying my makeup.

#1 XO Beauty Round Top Blender Brush
I haven't stopped using this brush since I got it for my birthday over a year ago! I use this one to apply and blend out my transition shades when doing an eye look. It has the perfect thickness to be able to apply the colour quite generously but then it's soft enough to be able to blend it out. You can find it here for $NZ16.

#2 Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
This brush came in a set of five eye brushes. This is definitely my pick out the set. I use this one to apply colour into my crease after putting down the transition shade. It's great for blending as well as it is quite fluffy. I buy all my Real Techniques brushes off iHerb as they're a lot cheaper there than buying them in store in Australia.

#3 Napoleon Perdis Set Crease Blender Brush
Just as this one says, I use it to blend out the eyeshadow in my crease area. This works so well for me and is soft and fluffy making it perfect for blending. I picked this one up from Target for around $15.

#4 Real Techniques Contour Brush
This is another one that comes in a set. I find that this is the perfect brush for both contouring the face as well as applying highlighter. It's just the right shape to really get right under those cheek bones to sculpt them out and just the right amount of thickness to be able to apply the right amount of highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones. Again, I've picked this one up from iHerb.

#5 XO Beauty Bronzer Brush
I am so in love with this brush. I use it every single day to warm up my face with bronzer. You can even pinch it in the sides if you want to use it for a slight contour. It disperses just the right amount of product and makes it so easy to blend out your bronzer if you've accidentally applied too much. You can get it here for $NZ18.

Are there any favourites brushes of yours that you recommend I pick up?
