Skincare Routine

A current skincare routine is one of my most requested posts on Life, Love and Lipstick. Im lucky to have been blessed with such good skin and I'm so appreciate of it. I only ever have to deal with the occasional pimple which doesn't stick around long at all but I think having some sort of skincare routine in place keeps it like that.

To take all my makeup off, firstly I use the Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes. These get the majority of my makeup off and are my favourite after trying so many different brands of wipes. After this step, I grab my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. The first time I used this it made me realise just how much makeup was being left behind from the makeup wipes. This cleans the rest of my face and rids it of any excess makeup.

After taking all the makeup off, I then jump in the shower and wash my face while in there. About every second or third day I exfoliate my face using the St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. I have been using this product for as long as I can remember and I absolutely love it. If my skin is feeling a little worse for wear, it just gives me the pick me up that I need, leaving my skin soft and clean. To finish washing my face, I've been using the Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser. This is quite a gentle cleanser but it's just enough for my skin. It smells absolutely delicious and leaves my skin feeling really clean.

Once I'm out of the shower, it's time to moisturise. Recently I've been using the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream. I've really noticed a difference in my under eyes using this product. It gets rid of the puffiness around the area and brightens up any darkness. So far so good. To finish the whole routine off, I use my Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. As it says in the title, it's a light moisturiser and I feel it gives the perfect amount of hydration without feeling too heavy. Coming into Winter now, I may switch this up for something a little thicker but we'll see how we go.

And that's the end of my routine. Nothing too drastic, but it works for me. What are your favourite skincare products? Any recommendations?
